Momentum's first puppy - Lucky!

Our charity recently had the opportunity to buy a puppy, for a lovely little boy and his twin brother. Their mum writes from Kingston upon Thames: 

"Alex had wanted a pet dog for a long time - even before he became ill early this year. Ideally he wanted to have a Dalmatian, as he loves black and white spots, but we knew that such a big and lively dog was unrealistic for us, so we persuaded him to have a black and white Cocker Spaniel instead. 

After some searching, we managed to find a breeder of Blue Roans in Essex, who had one spare bitch puppy for sale. We went to see the puppy and, of course, fell in love with her straight away. Alex came with us to collect her after one of his many operations and procedures. He called her 'Lucky' and has said he has never been so happy. The whole family is delighted with her - she has a particularly sweet nature, is very loving and sociable and you only hear from her when she is not getting enough attention. 

In this photo you can see Lucky with Alex and his twin brother Marius – she has totally become part of the family and has been a great distraction for us all at this difficult time. We are so grateful to Momentum for Lucky and for all the other treats they have generously given us. It has also been of great help to know that Bianca and the team are there for us with all kinds of support whenever we need them".
